The South is where “it” is at. With over 26 movies filmed in Georgia this year alone, NC, GA, and LA, are offering a lot in tax incentives. From US history, terrific restaurants (Bacchanalia, Ecco, Star Provisions), The High Museum of Art designed by The Getty Center architect, Richard Meier, Atlanta Botanical Gardens, author of ‘Gone With the Wind’, Margaret Mitchell’s House, The Civil Rights Walk of Fame and the birth home of Martin Luther King, Jr., World of Coca-Cola museum, Buckhead and Virginia Highlands shops, Stone Mountain and Piedmont Park Conservancy, ‘Warhorse’ at the Fox Theater, live music festivals (The Avett Brothers and Pearl Jam), cool music venues (The Tabernacle), the ‘Home of the Atlanta Braves’ (Turner Field), craft shows (Yellow Daisy Festival), and the world’s largest aquarium (Georgia Aquarium), Atlanta has so much to offer, and in a civilized and friendly manner, too. If you ever visit, do NOT drink and drive, you will get pulled over, instead, take the MARTA train.
